As FIFA World Cup events and activities take place throughout metro Atlanta and DeKalb County, the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office would like to remind residents that the State Court of DeKalb County remains open and is operating on its normal schedule.

All court proceedings, including jury trials and scheduled hearings, are continuing as planned. Individuals with scheduled court appearances should continue to report as instructed unless otherwise notified by the court.

This notice is being provided to help clarify any potential confusion regarding court operations during World Cup-related events. While some courts have announced temporary operational changes, the State Court of DeKalb County remains open and has cases scheduled throughout this period.
