The purpose of the event was to educate and empower the community. As a law enforcement agency dedicated to building a better, safer DeKalb County through education and prevention, we seek to engage as many residents as possible and provide resources that will empower the residents of DeKalb County. Giveaways including frozen turkeys and free food were offered on-site. Resources provided include Rental Assistance Information, Record Restrictions Applications, Career Readiness, Financial Literacy Assistance, Shelter for DV Victims, Substance Abuse Treatment, Human Trafficking Prevention, and much, much more.
