Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling announces date for domestic violence awareness event
DECATUR, Ga. (Aug. 27, 2018) – The second annual Dancing with the DeKalb Stars, a Domestic Violence Fundraiser and Resource Expo, takes place at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 20. Doors open at 5 p.m. for guests to explore the expo portion of the event. The dance competition begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are available online at https://dancingwithdekalbstars2018.eventbrite.com.
“Dancing with the DeKalb Stars,” is a fundraiser hosted by the DeKalb County Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling benefitting two local domestic violence non-profit organizations, Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence and International Women’s House. The expo and fundraiser includes a dance competition featuring members of DeKalb County’s legal, public safety, business and civic communities. All proceeds generated through ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit the International Women’s House and the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
